ELP Wellington’s ESOL Intensive class were lucky to have the New Zealand Chinese Culture and Arts Association visit for a demonstration of dance and tai chi. Thanks to Linda Zhang from the association for organising this fascinating experience. We watched Master Sun skilfully twirl his fans and flags with amazing speed and dexterity and Mr Li and Linda led us through some graceful tai chi moves. Our learners and some of the ELP team happily joined in as we tried to emulate our Chinese teachers…not always that successfully but it was a lot of fun!
