How to complain

If you have a problem with your lessons, it’s important to tell someone. If it’s too hard to do this in English, you can ask us to find an interpreter for you.

What to do:

  1. Talk to your tutor about the problem. A friend can help you do this.

  2. If you still have a problem, tell the centre manager. You can talk or write to them. A friend can help you.

  3. The centre manager will think about the problem and give you an answer. They might talk or write to you.

  4. If you are not happy with the centre manager’s answer, then write to National Office about the problem (complaints@englishlanguage.org.nz).


Ask the centre manager if you need more information about how we work with you to solve complaints. They can give you a copy of our complaints policy.
